No official release date and working title have been shared for the album, but rumor suggests it will come out before the end of this year with one of its new singles to arrive next week. On what to expect from the record, Ne-Yo recently told E! Online, "Expect an edgier, almost angrier Rihanna on this one. Rihanna says some things on this album that you've never heard her say before."
Another star who gave clue on Rihanna's new record was Akon. Unlike Ne-Yo who said the song he and Rihanna are crafting is not ballad at all, Akon shared, "I'm going to lighten her up. I don't want an angry Rihanna."
Beside Ne-Yo and Akon, The All-American Rejects' vocalist Tyson Ritter, Stargate, James Fauntleroy, Christopher "Tricky" Stewart, The-Dream, Justin Timberlake, Jay-Z, Kanye West, OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder, Soulja Boy, Shontelle and Pharrell Williams have also been rumored to make contribution to the album.
