The husband and wife are photographed acting very romantic on her 25th birthday, only to put to rest rumors claiming their marriage is on the rocks.

Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson put a united front together on her 25th birthday at the Wet Republic pool at the MGM Grand Hotel/Casino in Las Vegas on Saturday afternoon, October 3. Acting romantic during the affair, the pair thus put to rest rumors claiming they are on the verge of splitting up due to her alleged affair with "Melrose Place" co-star Colin Egglesfield.

The birthday lady, who was seen donning black mini dress combined with heels and fedora, was also joined at the bash by her sister Jessica Simpson. The siblings struck poses together for awaiting photographers on the blue carpet of the event before then making their way inside the venue.

Ashlee Simpson has been married to Pete Wentz, who is the bassist of band Fall Out Boy, since May last year. They are parents to one son, named Bronx Mowgli Wentz, who was born in November the same year.

Neither Ashlee nor Pete addressed Star Magazine's report, which was made public last week, that they often have arguments because he is jealous of her close bond with Colin Egglesfield on the set of "Melrose Place".
